Martin Freud (1889–1967) was the eldest son of Sigmund Freud. He served in the Austro-Hungarian army during World War I, but escaped from Austria to Britain after the Anschluss. His book Glory Reflected: Sigmund Freud—Man & Father remains the standard source of biographical information on Sigmund.
