Indira Sivasailam was anardent disciple of Carnatic music. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and was born into a family that was proud of its culture and heritage. She dedicated her life to learning music and was supported this pursuit. She is wife of Anantharamakrishnan Sivasailam, who was an Indian industrialist, educationist, philanthropist and a former chairman and managing director of Amalgamations Group of Industries. Mother of Mallika Srinivasan, who is an Indian industrialist and is the Chairman and Managing Director of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited.
